Welcome to a program that will change the lives of children all over the world. 

This program has been designed with 2 important goals in mind:

1.                We will teach children about the importance of clean water around the world through interactive lessons that utilize several areas of required curriculum.

2.               We will give children the opportunity to act on what they learn by participating in collaborative projects that will contribute to bringing safe, clean water to impoverished nations around the world.

This program was created by Water For People, a non-profit organization created in 1991 as the charity arm of the American Water Works Association.  Water For Peoples mission statement reads:

“Water For People helps the most impoverished people worldwide improve their quality of life by supporting sustainable drinking water, sanitation and hygiene projects.

Our vision is of a world where all people have access to safe drinking water, adequate sanitation and basic health services. A world where all people have safe drinking water and a world where no child dies from a water-related illness."

“Drop by Drop” is a unique program because its lessons are designed to be short (about 30 minutes) and taught by parent volunteers.

The most rewarding thing about this program is not only to see how these lessons change the lives of our children but to also know that these children will be changing the world, Drop by Drop. See Journal Entries
